Pimodek Architecture redesigned the duplex residence on the 31st floor of a mixed-use high-rise in Zincirlikuyu to reflect the lifestyle of its young homeowner. The spatial configuration is completely reimagined throughout the project. Originally located on the lower level, the bedroom is moved upstairs, allowing the ground floor to open up into a spacious area that accommodates an open-plan layout comprising the living room, kitchen, bar area, and guest WC. The upper floor features a suite-style bedroom along with a workspace overlooking the gallery void.
Designed to accommodate daily flow as well as private events, the living space embraces a dynamic design language in line with the client’s brief. In this context, a floor-to-ceiling rhythmic backdrop is created for the bar area positioned in the corner of the living room with panoramic city views. A vibrant color palette is paired with soft, curvilinear forms, while bespoke lighting elements designed and produced by the homeowner, who is also a lighting manufacturer, are curated alongside the client’s personal art collection, transforming the interior into a gallery-like living environment.
